Green Dome GNUstepWeb for Mac OS X provides a WebObjects 4.5-like environment for Mac OS X (with some support for WO5 additions). It is composed of modified versions of the standard GNUstepBaseAdditions, GDL2, and GNUstepWeb frameworks, built to run on top of Apple's Cocoa frameworks. The GNUstep frameworks have been built with Xcode as true Mac OS X frameworks. Thus, they may be used as any other framework under Mac OS X. Note that this is a standalone package that does not require or interoperate with a separate GNUstep installation/environment. It is not intended to provide a complete GNUstep environment, such as would be expected of a full GNUstep installation.
Muxic is a minimal user interface to XMMS2. It is inspired by Winamp Classic's windowshade. It is only meant for controlling and monitoring playback, not for managing a media library or even a playlist. To actually play music, it relies on the XMMS2 (the X-platform Music Multiplexing System 2) daemon, and another XMMS2 client must be used to put some music in your playlist. Muxic's keybindings are based on a subset of Winamp Classic's keyboard shortcuts. Muxic announces track changes using Growl.
PDFSlide is an application for displaying PDF-based presentations, such as those created by Beamer. It includes a presenter mode with current and next views. The timer view shows the current time and the elapsed presentation time. Apple Remote support is also included, which allows the presentation to be remotely controlled.
headstak is a stack-based task list. Before you start a task, or when you are interrupted while working on a task, you push the current job onto a stack. When the interruption finishes, or when the task is complete, you pop it from the stack - leaving you facing the job you were working on beforehand at the top of the stack. Run it and it should appear on your status bar as a little stack of stuff on a head. It is activated with the Control-Command-0 global hotkey.
