DataManager is a library that provides a shared memory pool to allocate buffers from. It includes the necessary things to build servers which regulary produce data and provide them via ringbuffers to clients. It includes the common framework to have locking and various access methods. The use generally boils down to simple get()s and put()s. This project is no longer under active development.
Momoko is a generic, object-oriented, modular, extensible environment for creating multi-user environments. It is suitable for writing MUDs, servers, and community-based Web sites. It is written in pure Java and supports Java and Python as internal scripting languages. Momoko provides facilities for organizing objects into tree-based hierarchies, orthogonal persistence, a transparent distributed objects system, remote access to source code and user files via WebDAV, a telnet-enabled shell for manipulating the object database, and an integrated build process which can be triggered remotely.
omniORB is an Object Request Broker (ORB) which implements version 2.6 of the Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA). It supports the C++ and Python language bindings, is fully multithreaded, uses IIOP as the native transport, and comes complete with a COS Naming Service. omniORB is one of the fastest available C++ ORBs.
PyORBit is a Python binding for the ORBit2 CORBA ORB. It was developped to suit the needs of the bonobo bindings in GNOME-Python, but is usable for other purposes as well. It aims to follow the standard Python language mapping for CORBA. It can generate stubs at runtime from typelibs, IDL files, or by introspecting remote objects using ORBit2's IModule typelib capabilities.
