JSpell is a server-based spell checker that allows you to spell check any HTML input field and form. It is i18n compliant and has dialogs for multiple languages available. It can be used to add spell checking capabilities to HTML forms on your Web site. This spell checker is compatible with JSP, ASP, CGI, PHP, Cold Fusion, Oracle Forms, etc.
Java iCal Group Scheduler enables several users to get together for a meeting, by using JICAL to translate their iCalendar files into their available free/busy time and post it automatically to your Web server. This project enables Ximian Evolution desktop users to book meetings with each other (and Outlook users) via a Web server storing their 'Free/Busy' information as specified in RFC2445. It works with Evolution, Korganiser, Apple iCal, and MS Outlook (for meetings), and enhances your workgroup and personal calendar views. Shell scripts for converting to various image formats are also included.
The Informa RSS Library provides a convenient Java API for handling news channels and metadata about them. Different syntax formats (like RSS 0.91, 1.0 [RDF], 2.0, and Atom 0.3) for feeds are supported. There is also basic support for channel information descriptions (OPML). A full-text engine (Lucene) can be used for indexing and searching the news items. Two backends for storing the data are currently provided: In-Memory and Hibernate (which allows you to persist news items into allmost any JDBC compliant database).
FaceRSS is a simple JavaServer Faces (JSF) component that allows you to display news from a specified URL source in one configurable JSP tag. This allows you to place news feeds on a Web site in a very simple way. It uses rsslib4j and therefore supports RSS version 0.9x, 1.0, and 2.0 with Dublin Core and Syndication namespaces.
Eddie is a liberal RSS and Atom feed parsing library for Java. It is a SAX-based parser, and as a result is capable of parsing a significant number of broken feeds. It was written after discovering that the well-known ROME feed parser is implemented using DOM, and therefore incapable of dealing with ill-formed XML
