Tellu is inventory management software that collects hardware and software information automatically from networked servers and workstations, and stores collected data in MySQL database where data is easily readable using a comprehensive user interface usable by any modern Web browser. Devices (like routers and switches), peripherals (like video projectors and displays), and service providers (like hosting and maintenance) can also be stored in the database using a Web interface called Tellu Skin. Inventory management is only one part of Tellu's capability, Tellu offers the possibility to group together workstations, servers, devices, passwords, file attachments, and others to form a faction. For example, a faction can contain all the stuff that a development team needs in their development environment.

BitchX is the premiere IRC (Internet Relay Chat) client. It originally was a modified version of the popular ircII client, and the features were eventually merged into the EPIC IRC client. MirBSD originated as a patch set against OpenBSD-current, an ultra secure operating system and NetBSD derivate, and has since also incorporated changes from NetBSD, a 4.4BSD-derived ultra portable operating system. It features bugfixes, code removal for the sake of simplicity, and feature enhancements over stock OpenBSD as well as a much more up-to-date GNU toolchain, careful integration of patches from other projects (such as KAME), and many improvements. It works on the Intel Pentium and some 80486 machines with more than 32 MiB RAM and the SPARC, and a port to the PowerPC Macintosh is in preparation.

UCARP allows a pair of hosts to share common virtual IP addresses in order to provide automatic failover. It is a portable userland implementation of the secure and patent- free Common Address Redundancy Protocol (CARP, OpenBSD's alternative to VRRP). Strong points of the CARP protocol include its very low overhead, cryptographically signed messages, interoperability between different operating systems and no need for any dedicated extra network link between redundant hosts.
