Botan is a crypto library written in C++. It provides a variety of cryptographic algorithms, including common ones such as AES, MD5, SHA, HMAC, RSA, Diffie-Hellman, DSA, and ECDSA, as well as many others that are more obscure or specialized. It also offers SSL/TLS (client and server), X.509v3 certificates and CRLs, and PKCS #10 certificate requests. A message processing system that uses a filter/pipeline metaphor allows for many common cryptographic tasks to be completed with just a few lines of code. Assembly and SIMD optimizations for common CPUs offers speedups for critical algorithms like AES and SHA-1.
C/Invoke is a library which can call C functions at runtime with no prior knowledge of the function prototypes. This capability is used to allow any language to call native libraries without writing a separate module in C, similar to the P/Invoke functionality of the .NET framework.
CGI::Application is a Perl framework intended to make it easier to create sophisticated, reusable Web-based applications. This module implements a methodology which can make Web software easier to design, easier to document, easier to write, and easier to evolve. CGI::Application builds on standard, non-proprietary technologies and techniques, such as the Common Gateway Interface and Lincoln D. Stein's excellent CGI.pm module. CGI::Application judiciously avoids employing technologies and techniques which would bind a developer to any one set of tools, operating system, or Web server.
CrissCross is a small cross-platform C++ library for console and file I/O, CPU identification (CPUID), hashing (MD2, MD4, MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, SHA-512, Tiger), sockets (TCP and UDP only currently), and data structures (LList, DArray, RedBlackTree, AVLTree, SplayTree, etc). It is designed to run on Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, Mac OS X, and even the Nintendo DS. Other platforms may become supported upon request. The main idea is to provide the ability to write a program using identical calls on the major platforms without needing to rewrite code.
The CyaSSL embedded SSL library is a lightweight SSL library written in ANSI C and targeted for embedded and RTOS environments, primarily because of its small size, speed, and feature set. It is commonly used in standard operating environments and cloud services as well because of its royalty-free pricing and excellent cross platform support. CyaSSL supports industry standards up to the current TLS 1.2 and DTLS 1.2 levels, is up to 20 times smaller than OpenSSL, and offers progressive ciphers such as HC-128, RABBIT, and NTRU.
GODI provides an advanced programming environment for the Objective Caml (O'Caml) language. From INRIA (who created O'Caml) you can get the O'Caml compiler and runtime system, but this is usually not enough to develop applications. You also need libraries, and there are many developers providing them. But it is a lot of work to build and install them. GODI is a system that simplifies this task: It is a framework that automatically builds the O'Caml core system, and additionally installs a growing number of pre-packaged libraries. For a number of reasons, GODI is a source-code based system, and there are no precompiled libraries, but it makes it very simple for everybody to compile them.
The LibXDiff library implements basic and yet complete functionalities to create file differences/patches to both binary and text files. It uses memory files as file abstraction to achieve both performance and portability. For binary files, it implements both (with some modification) the algorithm described in "File System Support for Delta Compression" by Joshua P. MacDonald and the algorithm described in "Fingerprinting By Random Polynomials" by Michael O. Rabin. For text files, it follows directives described in "An O(ND) Difference Algorithm and Its Variations" by Eugene W. Myers. Memory files used by the library are basically a collection of buffers that store the file content.
