cmictl sets some internal parameters of CMI 8338/8738-based sound cards. It allows you to utilize the S/PDIF out of your card. cmictl can control S/PDIF-in, S/PDIF-out, S/PDIF-loop, S/PDIF-monitor (SPDIF-in to Analog-out), S/PDIF-out voltage (5V / 0.5V), and S/PDIF frequency (48kHz / 44kHz). Some parameters are only available on CMI8738-based cards.

DSP implements several low-level digital signal processing (DSP) primitives accelerated, when available, by the Intel/AMD SIMD instruction sets MMX/SSE/SSE2. Portable C versions are provided for compatibility on non-IA32 machines. Routines are provided to compute 16-bit integer dot products (FIR filtering, correlation); sum-of-squares (signal energy measurement), and peak sample detection (for automatic gain control, etc.).

Alphabet Soup is a project which attempts to determine a number of things about the shapes of letters in several different writing systems. First, it hypothesizes a set of basic building blocks that all letters are built up from. Second, it hypothesizes a set of rules, a grammar or syntax, which defines how those pieces combine to make different letters. It can generate individual letters, randomize letters in an input string to create weird but readable text, or generate random strings of symbols.

QSMP3 is a MP3 Playback component for Delphi and Kylix. It allows you to add full MP3 playback capabilities to your application under both Win32 and Linux. It is a non-visual component, so it should be functional under Linux CLI, X11, Win32 GUI, and Win32 (not DOS) CLI. Supported capabilities include playback, stop, pause, seek-by-time-index,seek-by-byte-indes, automatic position reporting (by event), and position reporting by function call.
