The client part handles the display of the data on the iPhone.

The goal of JavaMelody is to monitor Java or Java EE application servers in QA and production environments. It is a tool to measure and calculate statistics on the real operation of an application depending on the usage of the application by users. JavaMelody is easy to integrate in most applications. JavaMelody is mainly based on charts and statistics of requests, such as memory, CPU, HTTP, EJB, Spring, Guice, JSP, JSF, Struts, or SQL requests.

Torrus is an alternative software platform to MRTG, Cricket, and Cacti. In most cases it brings more flexibility and performance. It is able to poll more than 50,000 SNMP OIDs every 5 minutes from a single moderately equipped server, with simultaneous threshold monitoring of half of them. Torrus is designed to be a universal data series processing framework. Its scalable hierarchical design, application-independent core, and highly customizable architecture make it an attractive choice both for small installations and for big enterprise or carrier networks. Although most users deploy Torrus for SNMP monitoring, it might be useful for data series of any nature. Tobi Oetiker's RRDtool is used for data storage.

snmpd-pyagentx provides Python3 bindings for AgentX extension of the snmpd part of the Net-SNMP project. It allows you to tie into snmpd, returning your own values for OIDs or whole OID trees right from the Python code. It consists of a thin C interface for snmp_agent_api(3), provided by net-snmp project libraries, and pure Python logic for handling forwarded requests. The C code is loosely based on the python-agentx project codebase by Bozhin Zafirov.

Orabbix is a plugin designed to work with Zabbix Enterprise Monitor to provide multi-tiered monitoring and performance and availability reporting and measurement for Oracle Databases, along with server performance metrics. It provides an effective mechanism to acquire data from numerous Oracle instances, and in turn provides this information for monitoring and performance metrics to your Zabbix server. You can then utilise the reporting capabilities of Zabbix for all data collected, and provide analysis such as graphs and service level agreement metrics for stakeholders. The current distribution contains a set of pre-defined templates that incorporate alerting and graphing capabilities from initial deployment. However, these can be fine tuned to suit your needs and data/monitoring requirements.

TinyIDS is a distributed intrusion detection system (IDS) for Unix systems. It is based on the client/server architecture and has been developed with security in mind. The client, tinyids, collects information from the local system by running its collector backends. The collected information may include anything, from file contents to file metadata or even the output of system commands. The client passes all this data through a hashing algorithm and a unique checksum (hash) is calculated. This hash is then sent to one or more TinyIDS servers (tinyidsd), where it is compared with a hash that had previously been stored in the databases of those remote servers for this specific client. A response indicating the result of the hash comparison is finally sent back to the client. Management of the remotely stored hash is possible through the client's command line interface. Communication between the client and the server can be encrypted using RSA public key infrastructure (PKI).

snmp4zabbix provides a simple SNMP interface to the Zabbix monitoring solution. This lets Zabbix monitor itself using the Simple Network Management Protocol. This is an alternate solution to the Zabbix API for integration, to some extent, with any third party software capable of understanding SNMP.
