JSend NSCA is a Java API and command line tool for sending Nagios Passive Checks to the Nagios NSCA add-on. By using the JSend NSCA core API, you can easily integrate your Java applications into a Nagios monitored environment, thereby notifying Nagios of problems and issues during the running of your application. The JSend NSCA CLI command line tool wraps the API and allows you to send passive checks from the command line.
ASUS G50 OLED is a modular daemon that controls the ASUS OLED found in G1/G2/G50/G70/G71 laptops to display system monitoring statistics such as load, CPU usage, battery level, total network traffic, CPU core operating frequency, current time and date, temperatures, and notifications of new emails or instant messages. The package includes ACPI event handlers that stop writing to the display when the lid is closed and stop or start the daemon by one of the blue buttons.
WildCAT is a Java toolkit and framework which can be used to build context-aware applications. From the client application's point of view, it provides a simple and dynamic data-model to represent the execution context of the application (for example, software and hardware resources), and offers a simple API for the programmers to access this information both synchronously and asynchronously (pull and push). Internally, it is a framework to integrate multiple sources of structured or unstructured monitoring data in a common data model.
StreamCruncher is an event processor. It supports a language based on SQL that allows you to define "event processing" constructs like sliding windows, time-based windows, partitions, and aggregates. Such constructs allow for the specification of boundaries (some are time sensitive) on a stream of events that SQL does not provide. Queries can be written using this language, which in turn can be used to monitor streams of incoming events. It also provides a feature similar to materialized views. Joins and sub-queries are also supported to allow event co-relation. A database is used underneath to do the heavy lifting. Pattern matching or multi-stream correlation are also possible.
Wiseman is an implementation of the WS-Management specification for the Java SE platform. The project scope includes the WS-Management specification and its dependent specifications, which can be found at http://www.dmtf.org/standards/wbem/wsman/. The project requires Java SE 5+ or above, and is built on JAXB 2.0 and SAAJ 1.3 (part of the JAX-WS project). Ant scripts for standalone and Netbeans builds are supplied.
