CheckstyleAS3 is an attempt to create the Checkstyle tests for Actionscript 3. Checkstyle is a development tool to help programmers write Java code that adheres to a coding standard. It automates the process of checking Java code to spare humans of this boring (but important) task.
Cheetah is a Python-powered template engine and code generator. It can be used as a standalone utility or it can be combined with other tools. Web developers are its principle user group, but it has many potential uses and is also being used to generate C++ game code, Java, SQL, form emails, and even Python code.
Chips is a Python library for designing hardware devices that provides a high-level device modelling language. Native simulations integrate with Python so you can use Python extension modules such as Scipy, Numpy, Matplotlib, and PIL to provide a rich verification environment. Device models can be automatically translated into synthesizable VHDL, and highly optimized soft-processors are generated for an efficient implementation. A plugin mechanism is provided so that additional code generators can be added. C++ and Graphviz plugins are provided. Existing VHDL IP can be imported, and seamless co-simulation of C++ and VHDL outputs is is supported.
ChkDB is rule-based data checking software for Oracle, plus files that define rule-sets and data domains (tables/views to be checked). The software is a PL/SQL package and some SQL scripts. There is currently no GUI front-end. For oil and gas data, there are domains and rulesets for well-header, drill-stem-test, and seismic-inventory data.
Slate is a prototype-based object-oriented programming language based on Self, CLOS, and Smalltalk. Slate syntax is Smalltalk-80-based, rather than trying to be clever and complex. However, the language semantics, environment, and run-time design are all much more powerful than in traditional Smalltalk systems. The design goal is to bring together many excellent existing ideas into one system, and to provide an environment where design decisions in one area don't constrain others.
Clickity is a tray-icon program to simulate mouse clicks and drags that are hard to perform because of limited hand use or limited pointing hardware. It runs on any X system with tray icons, as well as Microsoft Windows, and doesn't require an integrated desktop environment or accessiblity framework to be installed. Clickity can be activated by holding and then releasing the left mouse button or by moving the pointer and letting it dwell in position. Actions include single clicks, double clicks, and drags of the left, right, and middle buttons, as well as scroll wheel motion.
ClockingIT is a complete multi-user Web based project management solution with a focus on handling large amounts of tasks during software development. It features an unlimited number of projects and tasks, tagging, email notifications, RSS and iCal feeds, time tracking, file uploads, reports, forums, and issue tracking.
Cobra is a general purpose programming language with a clean, high-level syntax. It provides language level features for quality, including first class unit tests and Eiffel-style contracts. It supports both static and dynamic binding. Cobra is a compiled language with good run-time performance, but also provides some scripting conveniences such as a pound-bang line (#!) and one step compile-and-run. Cobra runs on Linux, Mac, Windows, and anywhere else that Novell Mono or MS .NET exist, including handhelds.
