aewm is a minimalist window manager for X11. It has no nifty features, but is light on resources and extremely simple in appearance. It should eventually make a good reference implementation of the ICCCM. A few separate programs are included to handle running programs, switching between windows, etc.
AutoRPM is a program that can do any combination of the following: mirror RPMs from an FTP site, keep installed RPMs consistent with an FTP site or local directory and keep installed RPMs in a cluster or network of systems consistent. It is highly flexible and contains a fully command-line driven interactive install mode (for installing RPMs from the queue or for installing RPMs from your system interactively). It also handles recursive dependencies, multiple versions of the same RPM, the same RPM with multiple architectures, and more. It does some of the same tasks as up2date and AutoUpdate.
CGILua is a tool for developing dynamic HTML pages and manipulating input data from forms. It uses the interpreted language Lua for codifying its scripts. It has been on the road for almost 8 years now, being used in many Web products and sites. It is extensible through Lua libraries and dynamic loading of C/C++ libraries. Scripts can be written as Lua programs or HTML templates (HTML with Lua code embedded). Scripts are platform-independent.
code2html is a perlscript which converts a program source code to syntax highlighted HTML. It may be called from the command line or as a CGI script. It can also handle include commands in HTML files. Currently supports: Ada 95, C, C++, HTML, Java, JavaScript, Makefile, Pascal, Perl, SQL, AWK, M4, and Groff.
cstream is a general-purpose stream-handling tool like UNIX dd, usually used in command line-constructed pipes. Features include sane command line switch syntax, exact throughput limiting on the incoming side, precise throughput reporting, SIGUSR1 causes a throughput report before end-of-file, built-in support to write its PID to a file, built-in support for fifos, IPv6 support, and built-in data creation and sink.
curl and libcurl is a tool for transferring files using URL syntax. It supports HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, FTPS, SCP, SFTP, TFTP, DICT, TELNET, LDAP, POP3, IMAP, SMTP, RTSP, RTMP, and FILE, as well as HTTP-post, HTTP-put, cookies, FTP upload, resumed transfers, passwords, port numbers, SSL certificates, Kerberos, and proxies. It is powered by libcurl, the client-side URL transfer library. There are bindings to libcurl for about 40 languages and environments.
CustomDNS is a modular DNS server written in Java. It's based on Brian Wellington's dnsjava pacakge, but it adds support for virtual hostnames, SQL databases, and dynamic client updates. You can use CustomDNS out-of-the-box as a clone of ml.org/dyndns.org, or you can use it to develop custom DNS applications.
