Address Book Continued is a multi-user address book Web application. It also makes use of AJAX, which means that page reloads only happen on login/logout; the rest of the operations is handled asynchronously in the background. It's well usable, even over slow connections. You can even install ABC on your desktop PC and configure it so that it doesn't require login for connections coming from the local computer.
ChkDB is rule-based data checking software for Oracle, plus files that define rule-sets and data domains (tables/views to be checked). The software is a PL/SQL package and some SQL scripts. There is currently no GUI front-end. For oil and gas data, there are domains and rulesets for well-header, drill-stem-test, and seismic-inventory data.
Data stream processing toolkit (dspt) is intended for processing huge amounts (gigabytes) of data in an efficient manner. The structure of the data files is user-defined, and the queries are written in a declarative style. Currently included algorithms range from simple filtering on predicates to aggregation and sorting. It also includes some convenience classes (e.g. for accessing BerkeleyDB databases). The toolkit does not offer as wide a range of operations as an RDBMS, but some measurements of simpler queries have shown it to be more than 10x faster than PostgreSQL.
Divmod Axiom is an object-relational database backed by SQLite, the goal of which is to provide an efficient, non-SQL interface to an existing relational database manager. It provides support for common Twisted practices: an Axiom store is also a Twisted IServiceCollection provider, and an implementation of Twisted's IRealm interface is provided. It makes heavy use of plugins and includes a wall-clock scheduler.
EasyMySQL is a PHP class that implements a MySQL database access wrapper. It can establish connections to a given MySQL database server host, execute SQL SELECT queries to retrieve the value of a given table column with another column that has a given value, retrieve query results into an array, escape string literal values, and retrieve database access errors.
Elixir is a declarative layer on top of SQLAlchemy. It is a fairly thin wrapper that provides the ability to define model objects following the Active Record design pattern, and using a DSL syntax similar to that of the Ruby on Rails ActiveRecord system. It does not intend to replace SQLAlchemy's core features, but instead focuses on providing a simpler syntax for defining model objects when you do not need the full expressiveness of SQLAlchemy's manual mapper definitions.
First Choice to HTML converts PFS:First Choice database files to HTML. It features full explanation of the conversions, examples, CGI routines, and a full set of links to resources. Several other utilities are included, such as tools for analyzing, sorting, rearranging, and pretty printing.
