Sequoia provides high availability and performance scalability for databases. It is is the continuation of the C-JDBC project. It provides transparent database clustering (partitioning, replication, etc.). It works with any Java application without code modification and with any database engine. It has been successfully tested with Tomcat, JBoss, JOnAS, WebSphere, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Apache Derby, HSQLDB, SAP DB, Oracle, DB2, Sybase, MS SQL Server, Firebird, and more.

DB Copy Plugin is a database copying plugin for the SQuirreL SQL Client. It makes it possible to copy and paste tables from one session to another and between different databases and includes primary key and foreign key constraints for copied tables, and uses Hibernate 3.0 internally to perform database object type mappings. It supports Firebird, Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL Server, MySQL, HyperSonic, Pointbase, and PostgreSQL, and allows the user to select a Hibernate dialect for the destination database if one couldn't be determined automatically.

JCheckLinks a Java app that does hyperlink validation. It is multi-threaded, has an include/exclude list to determine which URLs will be harvested for more links and which will be only checked with a HEAD request, and adheres to the Robots Exclusion Protocol (/robots.txt).
