apub is a tool to simplify uploading documents of a site to remote servers. Simply create an XML configuration file containing one or more site definitions, with the local and remote document root. After that, you can upload any file in any of your document roots with one simple command.
MultiLoad is a load balancer that redirects HTTP requests to pre-defined servers/locations. It gives the provider a way to balance the traffic and hides the real download location. It allows you to manage different version of each download. It is also a load balancing server extension. You can distribute files on some servers so that a downloaded file can be loaded form different servers. These servers can have different priorities to control the active traffic.
FDT is an application for efficient data transfers that is capable of reading and writing at disk speed over wide area networks (with standard TCP). It can be used to stream a large set of files across the network, so a large dataset composed of thousands of files can be sent or received at full speed, without the network transfer restarting between files. It is written in Java, runs an all major platforms, and is easy to use.
Autodl2 is a simple to manage and extensible file transfer system that can be configured simply using a configuration file. The system is designed to be lightweight and handle multiple file transfer protocols. Currently only SFTP is supported, though other systems can be added via a plugin system.
DB Copy Plugin is a database copying plugin for the SQuirreL SQL Client. It makes it possible to copy and paste tables from one session to another and between different databases and includes primary key and foreign key constraints for copied tables, and uses Hibernate 3.0 internally to perform database object type mappings. Rsyncmanager is a daemon designed to simplify the task of coordinating multiple file transfers to or from a machine. It was originally written to serve as the managing hub of a backup system that used rsync to feed in files from many other machines, so that all backups could be run from a single place. It can be used to coordinate any kind of regular file transfer, from a simple hourly copy of an email store from a primary to a backup server, to multiple concurrent rsyncs to multiple machines on varying schedules.
JBup (Java Backup) aims to become a robust, professional backup tool. It creates a mirror of the current file set and compares it to the previous version. The deltas are saved and the previous mirror is removed. By applying the increments in reverse time order, complete backups of arbitrary versions can be created. It is an Ant task and can therefore be used in Ant scripts that perform additional backup actions, such as archiving directories or sending emails.
