The OpenUDDI project is focused on creating a high performance, easy to use UDDI v3 compliant server and client library. The server and client is built using Java, version 5 for the server and version 1.4 for the client. The server uses Hibernate, and supports a wide variety of SQL databases for data storage.
OntoWiki is a semantic collaboration platform for the development of Semantic Web knowledge bases. OntoWiki enables large distributed communities to collaborate on a semantic level, by allowing users to contribute small structured knowledge pieces, which stitched together may result in comprehensive knowlegde bases. Powl is Web-based ontology authoring and management solution for the Semantic Web. Both expose an extensive API for PHP programmers.
Tagsistant is a semantic filesystem for Linux and BSD kernels. It uses directories as tags and allows file tagging by simply putting files inside desired tag directories. The path you are walking by is your query, e.g. tagsistant/tag1/AND/tag2/OR/tag3/AND/tag2/. Being a low level interface, a filesystem can be instantly used by shell users, file managers, or CGI. A plug-in architecture is under development to add autotagging functionality for common files like .mp3, .ogg, .jpeg, .html, and .xml. A transparent ontology engine is also under development to allow users create a relationship schema between directories.
Haystack is a powerful tool designed to enable each and every individual manage all of her information in the way that makes the most sense. By removing the arbitrary barriers created by applications that only handle certain information "types", and recording only a fixed set of relationships defined by the developer, users can define whichever arrangements of, connections between, and views of information they find most effective. Such personalization of information management will dramatically improve your ability to find what you need when you need it.
The McNucle server software turns your Mac into an easy to use fileserver. Choose a file, generate the link, and send it to your friends. Your folder is presented to them in a handy Web page. You and your friends can now browse, preview, and download the files on your Mac from any Internet-enabled computer. Since you don't upload files up front, the amount of files you can present is virtually unlimited.
The KeyIntegrity family of products is intended for the service of the whole life cycle of program services and management of a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) based on any platform and technology, including Java and .NET. KeyIntegrity allows the creation of crucially important business-applications for distributed heterogeneous spaces. It also integrates people, systems, and applications with external and internal resources of the enterprise.
The OMCSNet-WordNet project aims to improve the quality of the OMCSNet dataset by using automated processes to map WordNet synonym sets to OMCSNet concepts and import additional semantic linkage data from WordNet. It is based on OMCSNet 1.2, a semantic network and inference toolkit written in Python/Java. OMCSNet currently contains over 280,000 separate pieces of common sense information extracted from the raw OMCS dataset. This project is also based on WordNet, an online lexical reference system that in recent years has become a popular tool for AI researchers.
The Video Performance Evaluation Resource (ViPER) is a toolkit of Java programs and scripts that enables evaluation of video processing algorithms. This includes a markup tool for video, a performance evaluation tool that compares how well result data matches ground truth video metadata, and scripts and systems for running sets of experiments.
