access.see.be is an accessibility library based on WAI-ARIA. Web developers can use it to enhance their applications with accessible rich interface elements. They can also create full accessible rich Internet applications without excluding users who depend on assistive technologies like screen readers.
The xattr command lists, writes (sets), prints (displays), and deletes the extended attributes of file system objects. An extended attribute is a name:data (key:value) pairing arbitrarily associated with a file system object (e.g. file, directory, or symbolic link). The name of an extended attribute may be any null-terminated UTF-8 string. The data associated with it may be either textual or binary. This implementation of the xattr command is designed to be backwards-compatible with the Python script that shipped as /usr/bin/xattr in Mac OS 10.5.0 (Leopard).
Telemeta is a global audio archiving program which introduces useful and secure indexing methods to back up digitized audio files and metadata dictionaries. It is dedicated to backing up any digitized and documented sound from collections of vinyls, magnetic tapes, or audio CDs over a strong database in accordance with many standards. Export functions also encapsulate edited metadata into a compressed file. The object style architecture provides easy developed user-friendly interfaces and a plugin style audio processing.
OpenMKS is a tool for searching and navigating multimedia collections of images, video, 3D models, and textual descriptions. It allows you to semantically integrate content from various sources and then expose the result using standards so it can be explored by users through their Web browsers or by other software applications over the Web as a servlet or Web Service.
ExifTool is a platform-independent Perl library plus a command line application for reading, writing, and editing meta-information in image, audio, and video files. It supports many different types of metadata including EXIF, GPS, IPTC, XMP, JFIF, GeoTIFF, ICC Profile, Photoshop IRB, FlashPix, AFCP, and ID3, as well as the maker notes of many digital cameras.
JumpBox for Alfresco CMS is a JumpBox virtual appliance for the Alfresco content management system. Alfresco is an enterprise content management (ECM) system that provides features for document management, collaboration, records management, knowledge management, Web content management, and imaging. Alfresco has the goal of providing an ECM system that surpasses commercial ECMs in terms of features, functionality, and benefits to the user community.
Jigsaw is an embedded data-store designed for the development of data-warehouse, analytical, and machine learning applications. Jigsaw can perform over one million operations a second, and scale to store tera-bytes of data. The object library contains classes for representing ordered and unordered mappings, highly compressed bit vectors with a range of set theoretic operators, and directly integrates a high performance sort system.
BOUML is a UML 2 tool box that allows you to specify and generate code in C++, Java, IDL, and PHP. BOUML is very fast and doesn't require much memory to manage several thousands of classes. BOUML is extensible, and the external tools (named plug-outs) can be written in C++ or Java, using BOUML for their definition as any other program. UML models can be exported to HTML pages, including PNG or SVG graphics.
Tagsistant is a semantic filesystem for Linux and BSD kernels. It uses directories as tags and allows file tagging by simply putting files inside desired tag directories. The path you are walking by is your query, e.g. tagsistant/tag1/AND/tag2/OR/tag3/AND/tag2/. Being a low level interface, a filesystem can be instantly used by shell users, file managers, or CGI. A plug-in architecture is under development to add autotagging functionality for common files like .mp3, .ogg, .jpeg, .html, and .xml. A transparent ontology engine is also under development to allow users create a relationship schema between directories.
