Genius is an arbitrary precision integer and multiple precision floating point calculator. It includes its own programming language similar in some aspects to C, bc, or Pascal. It can deal with rational numbers and complex numbers. It has matrix support as well. It uses the gmp library so it is very fast for calculations of large numbers. It has a command line and a GNOME interface. The GNOME interface supports plotting functions and 3D surfaces.
Gnofract 4D is a Gnome-based program to draw fractals. What sets it apart from other fractal programs (and makes it "4D") is the way that it treats the Mandelbrot and Julia sets as different views of the same four-dimensional fractal object. It contains a Fractint-compatible formula compiler, allowing it to draw an unlimited number of fractal types, using numerous coloring options.
rcalc is a fast and light symbolic calculator for the GNOME desktop environment which aims to occupy the middle ground between simple point-and-click calculators and full featured mathematical packages. The emphasis is on useability; adding up should be as simple as on a handheld calculator, yet the more complex features should be there as required.
Championship Generator produces a list of all the meetings which must occur between the participants of a championship. It can be used to produce the challenges between teams if competitions are not foreseen to directed elimination. It supports championships where it is necessary to consider the matches at home and away. It can also try to avoid fights between the big teams in the first and last days. It also supports the case in which two teams have a mutual stadium, and therefore cannot simultaneously play at home or away.
