Genius is an arbitrary precision integer and multiple precision floating point calculator. It includes its own programming language similar in some aspects to C, bc, or Pascal. It can deal with rational numbers and complex numbers. It has matrix support as well. It uses the gmp library so it is very fast for calculations of large numbers. It has a command line and a GNOME interface. The GNOME interface supports plotting functions and 3D surfaces.

Eukleides is a computer language devoted to elementary plane geometry. It aims to be a fairly comprehensive system to create geometric figures, either static or dynamic. It can handle geometric types of data like points, vectors, lines, circles, or conics. A Eukleides script usually consists of a declarative part where objects are defined and a descriptive part where objects are drawn. Nonetheless, Eukleides is also a full featured programming language, providing conditional and iterative structures, user defined functions, modules, etc. The Eukleides distribution provides two distinct interpreters: "eukleides" and "euktopst". The former interpreter produces Encapsulated PostScript (EPS). The latter produces PSTricks macros, allowing Eukleides to be used with LaTeX.

Social Networks Visualizer (SocNetV) is a flexible and user-friendly tool for the analysis and visualization of Social Networks. It lets you construct mathematical graphs with a few clicks on a virtual canvas, load networks of various formats (GraphViz, GraphML, Adjacency, Pajek, UCINET, etc), or create a network by crawling all links in a Web page. The application can compute basic network properties, such as density, diameter, and distances (shortest path lengths), as well as more advanced structural statistics, such as node and network centralities (i.e. closeness, betweenness, graph), clustering coefficient, etc.

Benojt is a fast and flexible explorer for various types of fractals. It can render escape-time fractals like Mandelbrot/Julia style fractals, Newton fractals, Lyapunov fractals, and two dimensional attractors/strange attractors. Due to its modular design, single components like iterators, renderers, and colorings can be replaced, making it easy to experiment with individual aspects of fractal creation. New iterators can be created at runtime by typing a fractal fomula which is compiled and loaded automatically.

Boolean Expression Solver is a commandline utility that generates a truth table for a given Boolean expression. It is written in Java, so it will run on any platform that has the Java runtime environment installed, but the makefile and shell-script included for convenience generally require *nix.

jrMandel is a command line, parallel Mandelbrot set fractal renderer. It is specially designed to render high-resolution fractal images taking advantage of parallel processing, either by using multiple threads of execution (and thus suitable to run on multi-core processors) or by using a Parallel Virtual Machine (PVM) to distribute the tasks among the nodes of a computer cluster. jrMandel can also render fractals without using any parallelism, in order to compare the efficiency between parallel and non-parallel runs.

Formulax is a small Web application which renders formulae written in LaTeX on the fly and while they are being typed. It was designed to chat about mathematics and physics on IRC, ICQ, MSN, et al. where messenger plugins are not available. A formula author can pass a URL to dialogue partners to show them equations and formulae while they are being typed. Formulax relies on PHP, prototype (included), and mimeTeX (has to be installed). All that is needed on the client side is any JavaScript-enabled Web browser.
