XED is a text editor for XML document instances. It is designed to support hand-authoring of small-to-medium-sized XML documents, and is optimized for keyboard input. It works very hard to ensure that you cannot produce a badly-formed document. Although it does not validate, the results of offline validation can be accessed, and it does read DTDs and keep track of your document structure, and provides context-based accelerators to make element and attribute entry fast and easy.
RWP is a MySQL-based content management system which allows a Web maintenance manager and his group of non-techie Web operators to update a Web site's contents via ordinary browsers. The group manager (master user) can assign different HTML pages to be made editable to different group members (slave users). updates are instant. Everything is completely under an SSL connection.
xmlizer configurator/server is a client/server approach for custom database to XML mapping. The configurator is used to set up projects and the server delivers the processed requests on demand (like a Web server) according to the mapping rules made with the configurator, which includes a drag and drop GUI. One module is for dumping databases (or parts of it) in a fixed format and the other module can build XML instances satisfying a specified XML Schema (or DTD).
SILGraphite (formerly OpenGraphite) is a project within SIL's Non-Roman Script Initiative and Language Software Development groups to provide extensible cross-platform rendering capabilities for complex non-Roman writing systems. It consists of a rule-based programming language, Graphite Description Language (GDL), that can be used to describe the behavior of a writing system, a compiler for that language, and a rendering engine that can serve as the backend of a text processing application. SILGraphite renders TrueType fonts that have been extended by means of compiling a GDL program. It is currently being integrated into Gecko/Mozilla through the SILA project, a GNU/Linux port is also underway, and there are plans for OpenOffice.org and Abiword integration.
Phptempt is a template engine for PHP and Java. Templates are precompiled and then included to the script/Java program as a PHP script/Java program. Templates are organized in blocks and placeholders, all placed in one single file. Blocks may be recursive. A version of the engine is available that is optimized for Java and particularly useful for the creation of code generators of any kind.
xopus is a browser-based (Mozilla, IE) in-place WYSIWYG XML editor. It works similarly to a word processor, and uses XSLT stylesheets to transform the XML to user-presentable HTML and XML Schema to preserve the XML validity. A commercial version with table, rich text, and enumeration editing is available as well.
HTML-TEMPLATE is a portable library for Common Lisp that can be used to fill templates with arbitrary (string) values at runtime. It is intended to be used for HTML and is loosely modeled after the HTML::Template Perl module. It translates templates into efficient closures that can be re-used as often as needed, and uses an intelligent cache mechanism that allows templates to be updated while your program is running.
