AXIGEN is a fast, reliable and secure mail server with an open architecture. It is designed for easy management and allows full control of the email traffic from a central Web/CLI admin module. AXIGEN provides ESMTP, IMAP, and POP3 services and has been tested with standard mail clients. A special Webmail module enables email access and delivery from Web browsers. During the evaluation period, users are provided with full technical support.
Approver is a set of scripts for automatically approving posts to Majordomo-moderated mailing lists based on the sender's email address. Approver also converts HTML email posts to plain text by first filtering them through DEMIME, and it bounces all posts submitted to mailing lists made by non-list members, preventing list moderators from being bombarded by bogus submissions created by email worms and viruses originating from list member's infected computers.
AutoFollowUp (AFU) is a mailing list program meant to run on your Web server. It was created expressly for those users who want to have an autoresponder hosted on their own site, but have severe limitations imposed by the Web server administrator. AutoFollowUp automates the process of following up with your customers. It allows you to create lists of email messages to send. After subscribing, a user could receive a welcome email, and then potentially get another message from you every day, every week, every month, or at any interval you specify.
Bulk Mailer helps speed the delivery of an email message to many recipients using Sendmail. It's best used in parallel with a mailing list manager such as Majordomo. For input, it takes a file of recipient addresses (one address per line) and a message (with headers already attached) to be sent to the recipients. It sorts the recipient list by reversed domain (so similar ones sort together), splits up the recipients into several groups containing no more than N domains each, creates an SMTP envelope for each group of recipients, and feeds each envelope to sendmail.
Buni Meldware Communication Suite is an enterprise groupware product providing an email server, calendar server, and a Web mail client. The Web mail portion is written using Adobe's Flash and provides a rich cross-browser experience. Protocol support includes IMAP, POP, SMTP, iCAL, WCAP, and more. It uniquely supports full database email storage as well as file system storage of emails on major database platforms, and is easily installed via a Web Start graphical installation process.
Citadel is an advanced messaging and collaboration system for groupware and BBS applications. Users can connect to Citadel using any telnet, WWW, or client software. Among the features supported are public and private message bases (rooms), electronic mail, real-time chat, paging, shared calendaring, address books, mailing lists, and more. Unlike other collaboration servers, Citadel provides its own data stores and is therefore extremely easy to install; you don't have to "bring your own" email and database because they're built in. The server is multithreaded and scalable. In addition, SMTP, IMAP, and POP3 servers are built-in for easy connection to Internet mail. Citadel is both robust and mature; it has been in production since 1987.
