JWebEngine is an embeddable component that is far more advanced than the internal Sun HTML renderer since it flawlessly passes the Mail Accid and the Accid 1 test. It can easily be used as a JavaHelp or Mail Client renderer in your own applications. Even headless rendering is possible, for thumbnail generation for example. JWebEngine is already being used in the products i-net Crystal-Clear and i-net HelpDesk.
S22.Imap is an easy-to-use and well-documented .NET library component for communicating with and receiving electronic mail from an Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) servers. It supports IMAP IDLE notifications and IMAP over SSL, allows selective fetching of parts of mail messages, is inherently thread-safe, and is well documented with lots of example code.
Inbucket is an email testing service. It accepts messages for any email address and makes them available to view via a Web interface. It allows Web developers, software engineers, and system administrators to quickly see the emailed output of their applications. No per-account setup is required. Mailboxes are created on the fly as mail is received for them, and no password is required to browse the content of the mailboxes.
Yasma (Yet Another Sendmail Logfile Analyzer) is a reporting tool for sendmail log files. It provides a nice overview of your mail traffic like: messages transferred, some average values, top lists of messages sent, received, rejected, etc., and top lists of supposed spammers, status messages, relay hosts, and mailers. It analyzes one or more log files from the command line and writes an HTML report. For security, it can hide the user part of mail addresses listed in the report. A GeoIP database can be used to show country information.

OpenSMTPD is an RFC compliant, secure, and simple SMTP server ported from OpenBSD to Linux. It supports the SMTP protocol, including SSL versions for added security, virtual domains, forward files, and external delivery agents like procmail, and can do most of the basic things that other MTA implementations do.
