cipra is a simple, TAP-compatible Unit Testing Framework for C++. It's written in 100% standard C++11 and is only a couple of header files, making it easy to include in your C++11 project. TAP, the Test Anything Protocol, is a standard output format for software unit test frameworks which was originally designed for Perl, but can serve other languages. It has a rich number of tools ("harnesses") which parse TAP-formatted output and do useful things with it. TAP, however, is equally human-readable. The name cipra (pronounced /ˈʃi.pɾaː/ "SHEE-prah") comes from the lojban phrase "lo cipra", which means "the test". It is properly written with an initial minuscule "c", even when at the start of a sentence.
EO is a template-based, ANSI-C++ evolutionary computation library that helps you to write your own stochastic optimization algorithms quickly. Evolutionary algorithms form a family of algorithms inspired by the theory of evolution, and solve various problems. They evolve a set of solutions to a given problem in order to produce the best results. These are stochastic algorithms because they iteratively use random processes. The vast majority of these methods are used to solve optimization problems, and may be also called "metaheuristics". They are also ranked among computational intelligence methods, a domain close to artificial intelligence. With the help of EO, you can easily design evolutionary algorithms that will find solutions to virtually all kind of hard optimization problems, from continuous to combinatorial ones.
lib_MTA is a BASH function library for dealing with email. It provides support for unencrypted and TLS-encrypted relaying of email with attachments, special mailing list filtering, and From address spoofing. The installation automatically sets up a mailing list filtering infrastructure that can be enabled with a few simple steps. Example scripts for relaying email and filtering mailing lists are included in the package with the library. Desktop users can employee a simple script to send email to remote addresses without the need for a local MTA, provided they have relay access via Gmail or their ISP.
Huxley is a set of classes that makes it trivial to produce legitimate output for queries made by the prevailing standard of REST queries. Instead of writing a network API with many methods, being run over RPC, you instead write only a couple of methods that are accessed by HTTP GET requests. You then return the results (in either XML, JSON, or text) for processing. XML and JSON are chosen because of the ease by which they can be parsed by most languages. In this way, you open up the scope of your network services to many more people than would otherwise have access to it.
