The Visual Component Framework is a cross platform C++ application framework that offers a modern, clean architecture. It is divided into three major libraries. The FoundationKit provides services such as file access, streams, threads, synchronization primitives, and advanced RTTI features. The GraphicsKit includes classes for working with both image and vector graphics, and has built in support for the Anti-Grain Graphics library. The ApplicationKit provides GUI controls, use of the Model-View-Control pattern, property and component editors, undo/redo support, drag-and-drop, clipboard services, application resources, and UI metrics and policy managers.
ACFTools is a utility for manipulating X-Plane flight simulator aircraft and weapon models without using its Plane Maker. It can decode both Apple and Intel ACF/WPN formats into plain text files with a syntax similar to C, which can be edited and then re-converted into binary data. It is able to extract almost complete 3D models of aircraft (fuselage, floats, tanks, wings, stabs, propellers, engines) and write it in AC3D modeler format. Edited 3D parts can then be merged into plain text and consequently converted into binary ACF files.
Active Record connects business objects and database tables to create a persistable domain model where logic and data is presented in one wrapping. It’s an implementation of the object-relational mapping (ORM) pattern in which an object that wraps a row in a database table or view, encapsulates the database access, and adds domain logic on that data.
Q-Midi is a MIDI interface module which allows you to write MIDI applications in the Q programming language. It runs on top of Grame's MidiShare package. Most basic MidiShare functionality is available, including timing functions for realtime programming and MIDI file access. A sample MIDI player application is included (which requires Tcl/Tk).
