mfw allows multiple firewall configurations to be managed from the commandline on Mac OS X. Multiple firewall modes (and easy means of selecting between them) are useful on laptops, where one may want a default paranoid firewall, a mode for network scanning with nmap, modes for various networked games, or to run a software Network Address Translation (NAT) wireless base station.
pdf2htmlEX renders PDF files in HTML. It aims to provide an accurate rendering while being optimized for Web display. It is designed for scientific papers with complicated formulas and figures, so a precise rendering is the first concern, but general PDF files are also supported.
tk75 is a multiplatform control and cloning program for the ICOM IC-R75 shortwave receiver. It lets you control the IC-R75 from a computer and download/upload the radio's memory channels from/to a csv (comma-separated values) file using a graphical user interface. A logging facility records active frequencies, intercept time, and relative signal strength automatically while scanning. A session history window lets you return to a frequency you've monitored using a single mouse click. tk75 affords easy access to radio controls which are buried within the radio's menus (e.g., DSP Noise Reduction level).
spsim is a simple yet realistic diffraction pattern simulator for single particle diffraction experiments, as those made possible with the advent of XFELs. It takes a PDB as input and outputs noise-free and realistic diffraction patterns according to the experimental conditions chosen by the user.
libft is an implementation of the fischertechnik ROBO interface library for Unix-like systems. The goal is to create a library that is fully compatible with the ftlib by knobloch electronic. This library should work on any systems supported by libusb, like Linux, BSD, and Mac OS X. A basic Python module is available.
