G3D is a C++ library for game developers, researchers, and students. It is a base of robust and high performance code common to most 3D projects. It is not a stand-alone graphics or game engine, but is a set of pieces to jump start your own engine or graphics project. The library has two parts: G3D for pure math, and GLG3D for interacting with hardware acceleration via OpenGL. You can use G3D without GLG3D if you want to use another 3D API (like DirectX) or don't like the OpenGL abstraction.
Netdisco is a Web-based network management tool. Users can locate the switch port of an end-user system by IP or MAC address. Data is stored using a SQL database. Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP) optionally provides automatic discovery of the network topology. The network is inventoried by both device model and operating system (like IOS). It uses router ARP tables and L2 switch MAC forwarding tables to locate nodes on physical ports and track them by their IP addresses. For each node, a time stamped history of the ports it has visited and the IP addresses it has used is maintained. It gets all its data, including CDP topology information, with SNMP polls and DNS queries. Security features include a wire-side Wireless Access Point (AP) locator.
Esdl is library for accessing SDL and OpenGL through Erlang. SDL handles 2d graphics, user events, and audio while OpenGL handles 3d graphics. SDL (Simple DirectMedia Layer) is a cross-platform multimedia library designed to provide fast access to the graphics framebuffer and audio device. It also does event handling from mouse, keyboards, and joysticks. OpenGL is a cross-platform standard for 3D rendering and 3D hardware acceleration.
Chicken is a Scheme compiler that translates most of R5RS Scheme into relatively portable C. It supports fully general tail-call recursion, first-class continuations, and has a very flexible and efficient interface to C and C++. Chicken implements several extensions to the Scheme language: lightweight threads, pattern matching macros, dynamic loading of compiled code, and various object-oriented paradigms, such as TinyCLOS, and others. The library system includes hundreds of convenient modules for practical use.
