Inq is a scripting language for client/server systems. The server provides transaction, persistence, concurrency, and events support. The client is presently desktop only, though Web clients are planned. Inq uses a generic node structure throughout and reification techniques to obviate boilerplate code, especially in the areas of persistence and MVC.
libGlass is a scalable set of components that can be used by applications to perform distributed computing. Applications are built by reusing the available components as needed. One of the major goals of Glass is to be a user-friendly framework, not only suitable for new applications, but also for legacy code. This is an important feature, as most available solutions for distributed computing require a substantial amount of rewrite of legacy code.
SiteFusion allows object-oriented PHP applications to operate as OS-native applications through a XULRunner-based thin client. The client connects to the SiteFusion daemon through an ordinary Web server, and applications run in separate continuous processes. Two-way communication is enabled, without the need for additional Web server configurations. The implementation of the XUL framework in a PHP class structure includes an implementation of the Mozilla tree view optimized for very large trees, supporting drag-and-drop, editable cells, and sorting.

It provides classes that play SWF files, communicate with them via External API, FSCommands, or Variables, control external resource loading, and much more. They can interact with Flash Player.plugin and SWF files themselves.
Catalyst is a Web application framework for Perl. It is based on Maypole, and adds many features from Ruby on Rails, Struts, Spring, and Tomcat. The development philosophy focuses on Don't Repeat Yourself, Lego-like components, Code Generation, and very strong testability. It supports a number of plugins, models, views, and controllers.
The Biochemical ALgorithms Library (BALL) is a framework for rapid application development in molecular modeling and structural bioinformatics. BALL provides an extensive set of data structures as well as classes for molecular mechanics, advanced solvation methods, comparison and analysis of protein structures, file import/export, NMR shift prediction, and visualization. Its extensibility results from an object-oriented and generic programming approach.
NUI is a GUI ToolKit intended to work with SGI's OpenGL API. It is similar in many ways to GTK+, Qt and even Win32, but with many enhancements in order to make it an easy and yet powerful tool for cross- platform GUI programming. It is currently developed on platforms supported by the NGL framework.
