BuDDy was created as part of a PhD project on model checking of finite state machines by Jørn Lind-Nielsen. The package has evolved from a simple introduction to Binary Decision Diagrams (BDDs) to a full blown BDD package with all the standard BDD operations, reordering, a C++ interface, and a wealth of documentation.
Postoffice is a simple SMTP mail server and client written with spam blocking in mind. It provides a greylist to slow down the rate of incoming spam, and can be configured to do antivirus checking on incoming mail either via the sendmail milter protocol or a traditional hard-coded AV program. Postoffice can be configured to deliver mail to accounts inside vm-pop3d-style virtual domains, and it can further be enabled to support AUTH LOGIN for people inside virtual domains, so they can use postoffice as a mail forwarder when replying to mail. Postoffice accepts (and ignores) many of the same command line options that are passed to sendmail, and it comes with the usual crop of sendmail compatable aliases; runq, mailq, newaliases, and sendmail.
Pathfinder provides a mechanism for any program to perform RFC3280-compliant path validation of X509 certificates, even when some of the intermediate certificates are not present on the local machine. It will automatically download any such certificates and their CRLs from the Internet as needed using the AIA and CRL distribution point extensions of the certificates it is processing. By default, the Pathfinder daemon listens on the D-Bus system bus for incoming requests.
Sporktris is a clone of Tetris-clones. It is meant to be fun, functional, and pretty, with as little annoyance as possible. It features pretty level backgrounds and colored pieces, customizable keys, high scores, and hopefully everything else you'd expect from a decent Tetris clone.
Pixane is an image processing library for Tcl that allows the scripting of all kind of image transformations. It supports reading from and writing to a large set of file formats (JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, WBMP, etc) and provides anti-aliased text rendering and a set of built-in fonts. It doesn't requires Tk, so it can be used to easily generate images dynamically from CGI. Binaries are provided for many platforms as dynamic libraries with no external dependencies for easy deployment. It is also a core component of the eTcl distribution.
Textmail filters a mail message or mbox, replacing MS Word, MS Excel, HTML, RTF, and PDF attachments with the plain text contained therein. By default, the following attachments are also deleted: image, audio, video, and MS Windows executables. MS winmail.dat attachments are replaced by any attachments contained therein, which are then replaced by text or deleted in the same fashion. Any of these actions can be suppressed with the command line options. Mail headers can also be selectively deleted.
Turbulence is a general BEEP server that provides many site administration features. Turbulence is built on top of the Vortex library and is extensible through modules and allows you to implement server side profiles that are used and combined later with other profiles through run time configuration. Turbulence is written to make it easy to develop and deploy BEEP profiles, allowing developers to provide a convenient configuration interface to site administrators and end users.
Desuade Partigen is an extension for Adobe Flash that lets you create realistic vector and raster particle effects such as fire, smoke, and sparkles without requiring you to do any complex coding. Every effect is generated in real-time and is fully dynamic. It is an ActionScript 2.0-based engine, so there is no video to import - every single particle is made from within Flash at run-time. It requires Flash MX 2004, Flash 8, or Flash CS3.
Euclib contains highly optimized 2D computational geometry classes and algorithms for many different types of geometrical operations such as creation, intersection, projection, distance, transformation, and more. It can be useful in the developement of applications for computer graphics, computer aided design, computer aided machining, robotics, cinematics, geographic information systems, medical imaging, image processing, and more.
