PDFView is a very simple program to view PDF files. on contrast to Preview, the main window will open up maximized, and with the drawer hidden by default. When you toggle the drawer, the main window will resize just enough to show it, and maximize again when you hide it. The zoom level will be as big as possible to make the document fit, making it as easy to read as possible.
Macdoku is a Sudoku generator, assistant and solver. Its features include the ability to display possibilities based on the three main sudoku constraints, as well as the ability to highlight solved and erroneous squares. It uses Bill DuPree's "Sudoku Solver in C" as its solving engine and qqwing for puzzle generation. It allows you to play and print your puzzles.
QuickStep is a fast, simple image viewer. It can read JPG, PNG, GIF, and TIFF images. It can locate and display images of those types within ZIP, RAR, and TAR archives. QuickStep can be started from the Finder but is also designed to work well when started from a terminal. It is keyboard friendly: most commands use single keystrokes instead of Command-key combinations. It can display images fullscreen and run a slideshow.
retainCounter is an application that converts a simple [object release] into a NSLog(@"object retainCount: %i",[object retainCount]); [object release]; command. This is sometimes useful if developers wish to know the current count of an object before it is released, which makes it easier to detect memory leaks.
