TRIP is a general computer algebra system dedicated to celestial mechanics. It includes a numerical kernel and has interfaces to gnuplot and xmgrace. Computations can be performed with double, quadruple, or multi-precision. Users can dynamically load external libraries written in C, C++, or Fortran. Parallel computations on multivariate polynomials can be performed.
BazAR is an augmented reality library based on efficient computer vision techniques. It contains an easy to use geometric and photometric camera calibration system. It works in real-time with one or more cameras. A simple OpenGL GLSL shader augments the video stream by inserting artificial 3D objects, shaded with the calibrated lightmap, on a real surface. BazAR is based on a very fast textured planar object detector and features point classification trees.
JDBStudio is a database tool that simplifies browsing, editing, and querying of databases by providing an intuitive and consistent graphical user interface. JDBStudio is a suitable replacement for Oracle SQL*Plus, Microsoft SQL Query Analyzer, and other similar tools. It allows you to access different databases with a single program.
Sonic Visualiser is an application for viewing and analysing the contents of music audio files, containing advanced waveform and spectrogram viewers as well as editors for many sorts of audio annotations. It supports sophisticated audio selection, looping, and playback features, as well as the Vamp audio feature extraction plugin format.
Perceptual Image Diff is a command line utility that tells you if two similar images are different from the point of view of a theoretical human observer. It's useful for running automated regression testing on images that are perceptually identical but have minor pixel noise from different random number generators or small changes to algorithms.
ProM is an extensible framework that supports a wide variety of process mining techniques in the form of plug-ins. Plug-ins currently support the import of and the conversion between several process modelling languages, including Petri nets (PNML, TPN), EPCs/EPKs (Aris graph format, EPML), and YAWL. Mining, analysis, and log filtering plug-ins are also available.
PHPGallue is a multi-user, server-oriented image management system with a Web frontend. PHPGallue is suited for photographers to organize and publish their work. It allows the user to mark images, groups, categories, films, and series as private or as only visible to registered users. It is designed especially for large numbers of images. The Web frontend and backend libraries are completely separated, so it is easy to integrate PHPGallue as a management system into existing Web applications.
