The Ecere SDK is a cross-platform toolkit for building software applications. It currently runs on Windows, Linux, Mac OS X (through X11), FreeBSD, and the Android OS. It should run on other Unix platforms with minor testing/tweaking. With the Ecere SDK, you can develop applications once and deploy them on all supported platforms alongside a lightweight runtime environment. It introduces eC, an object oriented language derived from and fully compatible with C, compromising neither runtime performance nor ease of use. A built-in 3D engine supporting both Direct3D and OpenGL is fully integrated.
ProjectForge is a Web-based solution for project management including time sheet booking, Gantt charts, financial administration and controlling, issue management, and managing work-break-down structures. First-party and third-party plugins are supported. Ready-to-run packages of the ProjectForge server are available for Windows, Mac OS X, and all Java6-capable platforms (database and Web server are included). Movgrab is a command-line movie downloader for sites like YouTube. It has no dependencies; everything that's needed should be there in the tar.gz package. Movgrab can connect through an HTTP proxy, can output the download to stdout for piping into another program, and can fork into the background to free up the console. When forked into the background, its progress can still be seen in a ps list.
The SMS Server Tools send and receive short messages through GSM modems or mobile phones. Messages are stored as text files in spool directories. External programs or scripts of any language can be used to filter, inspect, and answer messages automatically. Events and alarms can be passed to scripts for integration in monitoring tools.
