CodeBase is a high-speed xBASE compatible database engine for C/C++, Visual Basic, Delphi & Java programmers. You can use CodeBase to write high performance database applications that are multi-user compatible with FoxPro, dBASE and Clipper, create anything from a Java applet to a full-blown Windows database application to a simple DOS utility, write scalable applications that can be deployed as single-user, multi-user or client/server, all without changing any of your source code, and port your applications to Windows, DOS, UNIX, OS/2, and Macintosh. There's a free 30-Day Test Drive option available. CodeBase is available for every major operating system including Windows XP, 2000, 9x, NT, CE, DOS, OS/2, Macintosh, and a variety of Linux and UNIX platforms including Solaris, SunOS, HP/UX, AIX, SCO, and others.
CodeGuide is a lean and fast IDE for Java and JavaServerPages. It features on-the-fly error checking, incremental background ("instant") compilation, powerful refactoring capabilities, and support for generic types. A visual debugger with on-the-fly class replacement (HotSwap) is also included.
Java Development Environment for Emacs (JDEE) is an Emacs-based integrated development environment (IDE) for developing Java applications and applets. The GRASP Project has created an algorithmic-level graphical representation for software called the Control Structure Diagram (CSD). The CSD was created to improve the comprehension efficiency of Ada source code and, as a result, improve software reliability and reduce software costs. Since its creation, the CSD has been expanded and adapted to include other languages. GRASP provides the capability to generate CSD's from Ada 95, C, C++, Java, and VHDL source code in both a reverse and forward engineering mode with a level of flexibility suitable for professional application. GRASP has been integrated with the GNU family of compilers for Ada (GNAT) and C (gcc), and Sun's javac compiler for Java. Use of GRASP is not restricted to these compilers, however. This has resulted in a comprehensive graphically-based development environment for these languages. The user may view, edit, print, and compile source code as CSDs with no discernible addition to storage or computational overhead.
The Internet Document And Report Server (IDRS) is a full Web development platform. All pages are built using an XML like dialect called the Reporting Markup Language (RML), can be generated using data from any JDBC complient database, and mostly require no programming logic. For reports that do require programming logic, RML pages can also use external Java classes and embedded JPython and BeanShell scripts for a higher level of control. Features of the IDRS include user-based security, data connection pooling for use by both the central IDRS system and by individual reports, and multiple databases to be used for each report and JSP.
JExpress is a Java installer builder and auto-updater. It gives you your choice of a standalone installer, including both native and cross platform installers and updaters for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and Solaris, or a Java Web Start one-click install. You create your installer quickly with your choice of a simple wizard or a powerful advanced interface, both included. You can bundle the exact JVM you want with your installer. The auto-updater gives you a continuous revenue stream after the sale. Your software is always up-to-date, so your customers have fewer problems. You also get all the features you expect in a top end installer. Your Java application becomes a native program just like any other. On Windows it's an EXE, on Mac OS X an app bundle, etc. If you need something really special, you can customize your installer by adding simple Java classes. You can even get a source license at a reasonable price.
Mckoi SQL Database is a full featured SQL-92 relational database management system written in Java. The software can operate as either a dedicated multi-client, multi-threaded database server, or can be used as an embedded database inside a Java application. The engine is designed to be easy to use and maintain and versatile for sophisticated database development tasks. The software provides a JDBC 2.0 driver.
WorldStation is a Java-based control panel to control the Ten-Tec DSP RX-320 shortwave receiver. The RX-320 is a "black box" radio which has no front-panel and is controlled via your PC's serial port. With an appropriate antenna, the RX-320 will allow you to listen to thousands of broadcasts from around the world. WorldStation features integrated Xbase frequency database support and advanced scanning to allow the user to visualize the radio spectrum.
