Displayed items can be grouped by date, context, keyword, or project and can be filtered in various ways. A display of busy and free times is also supported, as is a ledger view of time spent that is suitable for client billing. Alarms are supported for events and repetition for both events and tasks in a powerful and flexible manner.

It aims to be a one-stop solution for the management of typical agency business processes, such as project management and time tracking, invoicing and document management, and group calendars. It also includes CRM features such as sales force automation and direct marketing, and is extendable via the builtin component framework.
Calcurse is a text-based calendar and scheduling application. It helps keep track of events, appointments, and everyday tasks. A configurable notification system reminds the user of upcoming deadlines, and the curses based interface can be customized to suit user needs. All of the commands are documented within an online help system.
BORG is a calendar and task tracking system written entirely in Java. The calendar is an appointment organizer that provides a nice month view, month printing, email reminders, popup reminders, and a to do list. The task tracker tracks issues and tasks through various user-defined states.
Kimai is software that tracks work time and classifies it. It tracks time and prints out a summary (time sheet) of your activities on demand. The reports can be yearly, monthly, daily, by customer, by project, or by action. Its interface is based on using a Web browser. You can install it as a Web service or as a single-user program on your local workstation. It is appropriate both for multiple simultaneous users or a single user. Kimai does not have to run to do the recording.

wxRemind is a wxPython-based front/back-end for Remind, a powerful calendar and alarm application. yeaGTD is an acronym for "yaml encoded approach to getting things done". It is a script which extracts information from simple text files, one for each project, and then produces nicely formatted summary reports. Flexible rules can be used to specify repeated projects. Context, project, and date views are supported and output can be filtered in a variety of ways. Output can optionally be printed or sent to standard output in several formats. Commands are provided for marking tasks complete, opening files for editing, and backing up project files.
