Performance Co-Pilot (PCP) is a framework and set of services for supporting system-level performance monitoring and performance management. It provides a unifying abstraction for all of the interesting performance data in a system, and allows client applications to easily retrieve and process any subset of that data using a single API. A client-server architecture allows multiple clients to monitor the same host, and a single client to monitor multiple hosts. Archive logging and replay are integrated so that a client application can use the same API to process real-time data from a host or historical data from an archive.
MIB Smithy is an application for SNMP and COPS developers, MIB and PIB designers, and Internet-draft authors. It provides a GUI-based environment for designing, editing, and compiling MIB and PIB modules according to the SMIv1, SMIv2, and COPS-PR-SPPI standards. It accelerates the development process by providing an easy-to-use GUI-based environment for developing the specifications without the syntax and formatting concerns of editing the modules by hand. It includes a number of built-in basic SNMP management tools, XML support, and (with MIB Smithy Professional) support for custom compiler output formats.
MIB Smithy SDK is a dynamic extension to Tcl/Tk (8.4+) that allows development of custom scripts for controlling SNMP agents, manipulating SMI definitions, doing conversions, and more. It is based on the core of Muonics' MIB Smithy, and the SDK supports SMIv1 and SMIv2, as well as SNMPv1/v2c/v3 with HMAC-SHA-96 and HMAC-MD5-96 authentication and DES/CBC and AES128/CFB privacy. It also provides complete read-write access to all elements of SMI/MIB Module definitions, unlike similar extensions that provide only read access to a limited subset. The SDK allows multiple discrete SMI databases and SNMP sessions, and provides all of the built-in validation and error recovery capabilites of the full product, without the visual MIB development environment.
Lilith is a logging and access event viewer for the Logback logging framework. It has features comparable to Chainsaw, a logging event viewer for log4j. This means that it can receive logging events from remote applications using Logback as their logging backend. It uses files to buffer the received events locally, so it is possible to keep vast amounts of logging events at your fingertip while still being able to check only the ones you are really interested in by using filtering conditions.
PowerBroker Identity Services is an application that joins Linux, Unix, and Mac OS machines to Microsoft Active Directory and securely authenticates users with their domain credentials. Features include: joining non-Windows systems to Active Directory domains in a single step from the command line or from a GUI; authenticating users with a single user name and password; enforcing the same password policies for all platforms; supporting multiple forests with one-way and two-way cross forest trusts; caching credentials in case your domain controller goes down; and providing single sign-on for SSH and Putty. It does not require Active Directory schema changes for installation.

The Prelude Library (libprelude) is the glue that binds all aspects of Prelude together. Prelude is a hybrid Intrusion Detection framework implementing an open communication layer for use by any security application. libprelude is a library that enables Prelude components to communicate with the Prelude concentrator. It also makes it easy for third party software to be made 'Prelude Aware' (able to communicate with Prelude components). It provides common, useful features used by every sensor.
skill sends signals to processes given any combination of user names, ttys, commands, and pids. snice changes the priority of processes (given the same). They are similar to kill(1) and renice(8), but the commandline is order-independent. There are also verbose, search, and interactive modes of operation.
