The j661 project provides a generic CDS (or ARINC 661 Server) in order to facilitate the understanding of the ARINC 661 standard, prototype ARINC 661 concepts and architectures, and facilitate the reuse of ARINC 661 specifications and artefacts between projects. The CDS architecture is designed to allow defining the Server behavior to be easily modified or extended. This is achieved by a modular plug-in architecture, allowing customization at runtime without changing anything in the Server core itself.
Wenity is a multi-platform Zenity clone that helps (shell) script writers to interact with their users through various types of GUI dialogs. Scripts call Wenity and receive the user's selection in the exit code/response file. It supports any operating system with Java and a GUI installed, supports complex return types by using response files, and has a modular architecture supporting different functions: simple dialogs (user input, information, question, error/warning), progress indicator dialogs, system tray notifications, file choosers, and file viewers (text and HTML).
CASampledSP is a JNI-based service provider for the javax.sound.sampled.spi interfaces. As such it is capable of decoding many popular audio formats (like mp3 and aac) at native speed taking advantage of Apple's CoreAudio library. The focus is currently on decoding and converting to LPCM, not on writing or exporting.
PDF OCR is a simple drag-and-drop utility that converts PDFs and images into text documents. It uses advanced OCR (optical character recognition) technology to extract the text of the PDF or image. This is particularly useful for dealing with PDFs and images that were created via a scan-to-PDF function in a scanner or photo copier. It uses the Tesseract engine to perform OCR, and currently supports over 20 languages for OCR.
