Podget is a simple podcast aggregator optimized for running as a scheduled background job (i.e. cron). It features support for downloading podcasts from RSS and XML feeds, for sorting the podcasts into folders and categories, for importing podcast URLs from iTunes PCAST files and OPML lists, automatic M3U and ASX playlist creation, and automatic cleanup of old podcasts. It also features automatic UTF-16 conversion for podcasts hosted on Windows servers.

A configurable notification system reminds the user of upcoming deadlines, and the curses based interface can be customized to suit user needs. PDFTextStream is a PDF text and metadata extraction library available for Java and .NET. It supports all versions of the PDF document specification (including v1.7, used by Acrobat 8, 9, and X), extraction of text encoded using double-byte character sets (including Chinese, Japanese, and Korean), decryption of documents encrypted using 40-bit, 128-bit, 256-bit, and variable bit length ciphers, and extraction of all document metadata provided by PDF documents (including form data, bookmarks, and annotations). Easy integration with Jakarta Lucene is included, as well as interactive form update capability.
Autodia is a command line Perl application that generates UML class diagrams from source code, SQL, and database connections. It supports multiple programming languages including SQL, and can output images (using GraphViz/VCG/SpringGraph), Dia XML and Umbrello XML, or custom formats using templates.
fpwdman manages a file of passwords that is accessed by one master passphrase. It can import and export password files and makes it possible for encrypted password files to easily be transferred across operating systems. It supports multiple password files, which could be used when a number set of system administrators share a site-wide file of passwords for common tasks, while each maintaining a file of personal passwords. It also exports and imports password files to and from plain text and optionally uses user-generated random entropy. The source includes two command lines tools to encrypt and decrypt: ensbc and desbc.
