123 Web Messenger can add a Facebook-like messenger bar to the bottom of the browser window of a visitor to your Web site, keeping your visitors active and connected. It offers both Web-based IM and an optional desktop IM application. 123 Web Messenger supports text and video chat options. The Web-based IM includes an invitation button in the user list page to initiate a one-to-one private chat.
AIMSpy is an application that parses and displays content from instant messaging systems using the local network. It is multi-threaded, uses BPF devices for network access, and includes fairly thorough support for the AIM chat protocol and rudimentary support for the Rendezvous (iChat) protocol.
AZStats is a JSP file that parses and displays the contents of an Azureus stats file (typically Azureus_Stats.xml). The JSP is totally self-contained. No additional files/classes are needed. Just drop the JSP into a JSP/servlet engine and edit the JSP so that it points to your Azureus_Stats.xml file (either locally or via http://), and it will display the contents in a readable format.
AddressBook X LDAP provides a shared addressbook on your local network, without the burden of subscriptions. It is an iSync enabled application which transfers contacts from the AddressBook to a central LDAP directory. It also provides the ability to browse and search the directory. Multiple schema mappings are available and can be customized and extended to address individual needs. Currently, ABxLDAP Person (an extension to InetOrgPerson) is fully supported, but the Mozilla Schema and the basic InetOrgPerson are in development. Support for Active Directory is included as well.
Advertnet is tool for managing multiple networks of advertising boards, ready to work with Second Life. In Advertnet's model, the boards are attached to urban furnitures and can belong to different networks, thus forming ad campaigns. Differents types of objects can be attached to boards and networks: notecards, URLs, etc. Advertnet is composed of a Ruby on Rails application that can communicate with ad boards created in Second Life.
Andromeda turns collections of MP3s into fully-featured streaming Web sites. Many other file formats are supported, including: WMA, OGG, MPG, AVI, and WMV. It can be used as a personal jukebox on a local network or over the Internet (bandwidth permitting). It works well with PHP-Nuke, PostNuke, and phpWebSite. Additional features include skins, custom playlists, logons/accounts, and a search tool. Andromeda is also multilingual, speaking English, German, Russian, Dutch, Spanish, and many other languages. No database is required. ASP and PHP versions are available.

This easy to use tool works with any mail transport and achieves these goals requiring no operator intervention after the initial setup phase.
