C4 is a creative-coding framework which lets you build expressive user experiences and create works of art on iOS. It gives you the power of the native iOS programming environment with a simplified API which lets you get down to working with media right away. It lets you build artworks, design interfaces, and explore new possibilities of working with media and interaction.
IKNetworkActivityManager is a Cocoa class that simplifies work with UIApplication network activity indicator. It turns your networkActivityIndicatorVisible = YES/NO code to add/removeNetworkUser:, so you don't need to remember objects that can use network anymore. A demonstration App is available.
The Kowalski project aims to provide a data driven, lightweight cross platform audio solution. The target audience is developers of games and similar applications where real time audio plays an important role. The Kowalski engine, which is the runtime component, relies only on host-specific external libraries to pass the final output buffers to the audio hardware. All other processing is done in the engine code. Features include positional audio (distance attenuation, cone attenuation, Doppler shift, binaural panning), real time Ogg Vorbis decoding, a powerful mix bus system, and tools to build, validate, and view Kowalski data.
LibRCrypt is an Objective C library for complex data encryption based on Rubik's Cubes. The idea's pretty simple: If you represent data as the squares on a Rubik's Cube, you can apply transformations to the data and get back encrypted data, all of which is commutatitive. Just as a Rubik's Cube can be solved if you know all of the moves, this data can be "unwound", so to speak, if you know all of the transforms applied, but the encryption is even deeper than that. A cube can only cover (9 squares per face x 6 faces) 54 significant bits of data. Therefore, compressed data must be composed of multiple (even thousands) of Rubik's Cubes.
MatrixSSL is an embedded SSL and TLS implementation designed for small footprint devices and applications requiring low overhead per connection. The library is less than 50K on disk with cipher suites. It includes SSL and TLS client and server support, session resumption, and implementations of RSA, AES, 3DES, ARC4, SHA1, and MD5. The source is well documented and contains portability layers for additional operating systems, cipher suites, and cryptography providers.
NUI is a GUI ToolKit intended to work with SGI's OpenGL API. It is similar in many ways to GTK+, Qt and even Win32, but with many enhancements in order to make it an easy and yet powerful tool for cross- platform GUI programming. It is currently developed on platforms supported by the NGL framework.
A tool for setup and on-demand mounting of encrypted filesystems under Linux.
