Caffeine is a free high-performance interoperability solution between the Java platform and the .NET framework, with special emphasis on the enterprise variants of such platforms. It makes software originally written for .NET available to the Java platform. It promotes library reuse between Java and .NET by transferring APIs across environments, and allows code written for one platform to run on the other platform with minimal performance degradation. ENet for C# wraps the C-language ENet networking library. For games and other realtime applications, if you use TCP, old data can hold up newer data, even if it is no longer relevant (old positions, etc.). MUSCLE (Multi User Server Client Linking Environment) is an N-way messaging server and networking API. It includes client-side networking APIs for various languages, including C, C++, C#, Delphi, Java, and Python. MUSCLE lets programs communicate over a network via streams of serialized Message objects. The included server program ("muscled") lets its clients message each other and store information in its server-side hierarchical database. The database supports flexible queries via hierarchical wildcarding, and "live" updates via a subscription mechanism.
