Flora is a minimalistic but very powerful NoSQL database. It is easy to understand with data readable by both humans and machines, schemaless, Lua-scriptable, remotely accessible through TCP, and portable. It is especially suited for A. I. tasks, and a longer-term goal is support for "natural language" queries.
Java Grinder takes Java byte-code from a class file and compiles it into an assembly code text file that can be assembled and run on microcontrollers and CPUs including MSP430, dsPIC, 6502 (Commodore 64), 68000, ARM, and MIPS. A Java API is provided for dealing with SPI, GPIO, Commodore 64 hardware, and more.
NimBorg is a library for accessing Lua and Python libraries from within Nimrod code. It wraps the C API of these languages with macros which make the code far more readable than the low-level API, and also automatically handles the memory management interface of these languages so that objects aren't deallocated as long as they're accessible from your Nimrod code.
German Word Searches allows you to play on-screen word searches to reinforce core German vocabulary. The user can select any combination of 20+ built-in topics, containing a total of 1,200 items of vocabulary. The size and overall difficulty of word searches can also be configured.
blogstrap.py is a simple, no frills blog content management system powered by Twitter's Bootstrap and web.py. It features most things you would come to expect from a simple blogging platform. You can browse posts by category or subcategory, see recent posts, and mark favorites. You can perform basic searches. It includes an About page. A basic tag system is implemented (popular tags are counted and shown). A simple comment system is available. A robust administrative interface is included where you can create and edit posts. You can upload images and include them on a Credits page, where you can properly attribute the original author. Comments can be set to on, off, or manual approval (moderated). Security has been a top priority since the beginning. Blogstrap.py has low resource usage and runs quickly on top of Lighttpd.
