Xuheki is a fully featured email (IMAP) client for the Web. It looks and feels like an application rather than a Web site. It is fast, clean, and features no page reloads. It supports multiple users per installment, multiple IMAP servers per user, and multiple folders per IMAP server. It also supports text or HTML email, attachments, inline images, printing, and more. It has an "AJAX" interface that could compete with desktop-based mail user agents.

Zimbra is a next-generation enterprise messaging and collaboration system. Enigmail is an extension for the mail client of Mozilla, Netscape 7.x, and Mozilla Thunderbird that allows users to access the authentication and encryption features provided by the popular GnuPG software. It can encrypt/sign mail when sending, decrypt/authenticate received mail, and import/export public keys. It supports both the inline PGP format and the PGP/MIME format, which can be used to encrypt attachments, and is cross-platform, although binaries are supplied only for a limited number of platforms. Enigmail uses inter-process communication to execute GPG to carry out encryption/authentication.
ADJE WebMail is a set of Perl CGI scripts which provide a Web interface to existing email accounts on any POP3-compliant email server. The software provides a complete interface, including encoding/decoding attachments, email and URL markup in received emails, and an address book for each user.

It uses much of the Mozilla source code powering such successful siblings as Firefox, Thunderbird, Camino, Sunbird, and Miro.
