Geiser is a generic Emacs/Scheme interaction mode, featuring an enhanced REPL and a set of minor modes that improve Emacs' basic major mode for Scheme. The main features provided are evaluation of forms in the namespace of the current module, macro expansion, loading of files and modules, namespace-aware identifier completion, automatic documentation, jumping to the definition of an identifier, access to documentation, listings of identifiers exported by a given module, and rudimentary support for debugging. Geiser supports Guile and Racket.

Fluxus is a graphical live coding environment for Scheme. Fluxus reads live audio or OSC network messages which can be used as a source of animation data for real-time performances or installations. Keyboard or mouse input can also be read for simple game development, and a physics engine is included for realtime simulations of rigid body dynamics. The built in scheme code editor runs on top of the renderer, which means you can edit the scripts while they are running.

Scsh is a systems-programming environment for POSIX systems and Win32, embedded in the Scheme programming language. It includes a high-level process notation for writing shell-script like programs, with pipelines and redirections. Scsh additionally provides low-level access to POSIX primitives, plus important non-POSIX extensions such as sockets. Scsh is implemented on top of Scheme48, a portable bytecode implementation of Scheme. A number of user-contributed extensions are available, including an extensible HTTP and FTP server, a socket-level PostgreSQL interface, a programmable text formatting language, and a Postscript generation language.
