WebMCP is a Web application framework. Instead of using the classical Model-View-Controller (MVC) concept, WebMCP makes use of a so-called Model-View-Action concept. The database is accessed through the Model layer, which provides an Object-Relational-Mapping (ORM). HTTP-GET requests are handled by Views, which process the request data, query the database, and render the result. HTTP POST requests are handled by Actions, which can write to the database and redirect to a View, dependent on success or failure.
Aviation is a flight simulator meant to be somewhere in between accurate but complicated simulators and simple toy simulators that don't provide any level of realism. It currently features a non-linear flight model, a configurable atmosphere and sky model, and a CLOD triangulation engine for the terrain. Currently Aviation allows you to fly around in an area of around 600 square kilometers centered around the Columbia river. It can be easily extended to implement combat or air race scenarios, for example.
eLua (Embedded Lua) aims to introduce the programming language Lua to the embedded software development world. Lua is the perfect example of a minimal yet fully functional language. The aim of the project is to have a fully functional Lua development environment on a microcontroller (Lua interpreter, modules appropriate for microcontroller environments, and editor) without the need to install a specific toolchain on the PC side.
Scrupp is a 2D engine that uses OpenGL for hardware-accelerated visualization. All of its functionality is exported to the Lua programming language. Using Scrupp means writing Lua scripts. It features support for movies and networking and enables run-time image creation using Cairo.
FXiTe is an advanced cross-platform text editor built with the Fox GUI toolkit and the FXScintilla text widget. It features built-in syntax highlighting for 40+ languages, an embedded Lua scripting engine, macro recording and playback, multi-line regular expression search and replace, rudimentary ctags and calltip support, a flexible interface to external tools, and a built-in "message window" to capture the output of external commands such as compiler error messages, etc.
CorsixTH is a clone of Theme Hospital. As computers evolve, we risk losing some classic games. Bullfrog's Theme Hospital, published in 1997, is a classic simulation game, but getting it to run natively on modern operating systems is getting progressively harder. CorsixTH aims to reimplement the game engine of Theme Hospital, and to be able to load the original game data files. This means that you will need a purchased copy of Theme Hospital, or a copy of the demo, in order to use CorsixTH. After most of the original engine has been reimplemented, the project will serve as a base from which extensions to the original game can be made.
Bitfighter is a game that feels a little like Asteroids on steroids. It's a multiplayer space-based combat and strategy game, featuring customized ships, multiple game modes, cool retro graphics, and smooth network play. It also includes a full featured level editor, Lua scriptable bots, and other cool features. It has a very active development team, so the game keeps improving.
Cardpeek is a tool to read the contents of ISO7816 smartcards. It features a GUI to represent card data in a tree view, and it is extendable with a scripting language (LUA). The goal of this project is to allow smartcard owners to be better informed about what type of personal information is stored in these devices. The tool currently reads the contents of: EMV bank cards, Calypso public transport cards (such as Navigo, RavKav, and Mobib), Belgian eID cards, GSM SIM cards, the French Vitale 2 health card, some Mifare cards, and Moneo electronic purse cards.
