Allegro Common Lisp is a full ANSI Common Lisp (1994) implementation. It contains many extensions, including 32- and 64-bit native compilation, efficient built-in memory management, foreign functions (for interfacing with other languages), multiprocessing, UNICODE and locale support, XML/HTML parsers, a Web client and server, GTK+ interface (1.2 and 2.0), Java interface, OLE interface (Windows only), profiler, regular expressions, an XML RPC implementation, native Lisp RPC, sockets, DLL and shared library support, and more.
ALTSE is an alternative search engine technology. It can index up to a couple million Web pages. Altse does not aim to replace existing search engine technologies such as Google, Yahoo, and so on. And-httpd is an HTTP server that maps URLs to files. In other words, in can take an incoming URL and map it to a file in a number of ways (for example, according to content type or language). It can also do authentication or IP based ACLs. It cannot do CGI or other kinds of code execution. It cannot even dynamically create directory listings (although it comes with external tools to do so automatically, and to create a "status page"). It currently has a $2000 "security guarantee" against remote attacks.
