libbgrab is a video4linux grabbing library to facilitate use of framegrabber cards and webcams through a few function calls. To implement constant throughput and to avoid frame loss delays, triple buffering is used through local buffer copying in a separate grabbing thread. The many demo and utility programs included can display live video to X, convert live video to ASCII, smoothly zoom live-video (using Glide), do some image processing (using MMX), and provide a stand-alone webcam image server.
The Advanced Foundation Classes (AFC) (formerly Amiga Foundation Classes) are a suite of C/C++ classes, originally born on Amiga computers, and ported to Linux. They provide a lot of basic classes, including a list manager, a Hash Table manager, a better string handler for C programs, a string parser, and more. One unique feature is documentation - AFC comes with a PDF manual of over 280 pages.
udhcp Server/Client is an embedded DHCP client and server that can be compiled seperately (19k and 17k respectively), or as one combined binary (29k). The server stores its lease file periodically, or by a signal (for systems with flash memory) in terms of absolute time of lease expiration, or time remaining in a lease (for systems with no clocks). The client calls helper scripts to do the work of configuring the interfaces for more flexibility. udhcp has been included in BusyBox and is no longer maintained as a separate project.
Euchre is a spades or bridge-like card game played with four players (3 computer players and 1 human). The game is played via a GTK+ interface and allows customization of the computer skill level, aggression level, and many of the other game parameters. There are three levels of AI skill (easy, medium, and hard). The medium and hard levels are good enough to give you a decent challenge.

Nast is a packet sniffer and a LAN analyzer based on Libnet and Libpcap. It can sniff the packets on a network interface in normal mode or in promiscuous mode. It dumps the headers of packets and the payload in ASCII or ASCII-hex format. Various packet filters can be applied. The data sniffed can be saved in a separate file. As an analysis tool, it can check for other NICs on the network which are set in promiscuous mode, build a list of all hosts on a LAN, find a gateway, perform port scanning on a multiple hosts, catch daemon banners, follow the TCP data stream, reset a connection, and determine whether a link type is a hub or switch.
