Web Services Intrusion Defense is an Eclipse plugin that validates the Web Service Description Language (WSDL) interface specification of a Web service, flagging any interface feature that could open a door to hacker attacks against that service. The project is designed as an extension to the WSDL validation plug-in, which is provided as part of Web Services Validation Tools (WSVT).
Teach-SA reads mail in designated maildir folders (spam on the one hand, ham on the other) and feeds them to Spamassassin for Bayesian learning and submission to various spam detection schemes. It is good for implementing any sort of supervised training in addition to Spamassassin's unsupervised training (also known as automatic whitelist) while reducing training-related admin workload to nearly zero. It fits any setup storing mail as maildir, but could trivially be modified to work with mbox based systems. It was originally developed so that users could report spam by moving it to a specific folder in their own IMAP mailbox.
GAINT (GAim Is Not Telnet) is a plugin for Gaim. It provides mIRC's Fserve like functionality in Gaim. Currently, the following commands are implemented: cd, pwd, list (with regexp), get, and help. It also supports configurable trigger strings. Nickname-based access control has been implemented. This plugin enables Gaim users to share files behind restrictive firewalls that disallow P2P traffic.
The Powersave Daemon provides battery, temperature, AC, and CPU frequency control and monitoring along with proper suspend to disk/RAM and standby support with shell hooks that are easy to extend. It supports APM and ACPI machines and can control a hard disk's advanced power and acoustic management settings. It is perfect for laptops and workstations that need to run quietly with low power consumption, or switch to full performance mode if needed. Self definable power schemes give full control over power control features and allow easy and automatic switching between performance or power saving settings for each hardware component.
