slakbootEBS is a software development kit for the automated creation of bootable embedded systems based on Slackware and Busybox. The focus is on i486 and ARM systems that use compact flash devices (handhelds and PC104 type boards). The distribution consists of a primary archive with tools, scripts, and documentation, and additional archives for the i486 and PXA250 binary components.
Ewrt is a Linux distribution for the Linksys WRT54G that was forked from the Linksys and Sveasoft code bases. It is designed to meet the needs of open wireless network operators by providing a captive portal based on NoCatSplash and large-scale management functionality on a stable and low-cost platform.
Facter is a simple cross-platform library for determining basic facts about an operating system, like the operating system name, IP address, or MAC address. It supports multiple mechanisms for resolving a given fact, and these mechanisms can be restricted to only working on specified operating systems or operating system releases.
The Familiar Project is composed of a group of loosely knit developers all contributing to creating the next generation of PDA OS. Currently, most of our development time is being put towards producing a stable, and full featured Linux distribution for the Compaq/HP iPAQ series of handheld computers, as well as apps to run on top of the distribution.
