Journal is a Perl/CGI script that allows the user to keep a regular log of his/her thoughts. The interface is easy to understand, with only a few buttons to utilize. This journal is fast and able to be viewed and used by both text and graphical browsers. Drawbacks as of now are that it works better if Apache is running (but can be changed if the user can read Perl), and there is no installer. The pieces need to be hand placed (optimal placement in the README.txt), and there is not a Win32 port yet.

It doesn't deal with any kind of audio data itself; it just runs programs, deals with saving/ loading data, and connects different kinds of virtual audio ports together.

This can be beneficial in various test cases where resource limits are not a meaningful method for memory status management.
