MIB Smithy is an application for SNMP and COPS developers, MIB and PIB designers, and Internet-draft authors. It provides a GUI-based environment for designing, editing, and compiling MIB and PIB modules according to the SMIv1, SMIv2, and COPS-PR-SPPI standards. It accelerates the development process by providing an easy-to-use GUI-based environment for developing the specifications without the syntax and formatting concerns of editing the modules by hand. It includes a number of built-in basic SNMP management tools, XML support, and (with MIB Smithy Professional) support for custom compiler output formats.
PHPmyCDMouse aims to be a full-featured indexing solution for data CDs/DVDs using PHP/Apache/MySQL. Once a CD/DVD is indexed, it lets you search and browse for specific files/CDs/DVDs without inserting them. Advanced features include configuration of icons with file extensions which are shown in the file browser, browsing through the directory structure, and an addresses/lending database.
The libstatgrab library provides an easy-to-use interface for accessing system statistics and information. Available statistics include CPU, Load, Memory, Swap, Disk I/O, and Network I/O. It was developed to work on Linux, FreeBSD, and Solaris. The package also includes two tools: saidar provides a curses-based interface for viewing live system statistics, and statgrab is a sysctl-like interface to the statistics.
Taktuk is a parallel and scalable remote execution tool for clusters. It works by propagating the execution of a parallel program on all target nodes, using standard remote execution protocols (rsh, ssh, etc.). Remote call scheduling automatically adapts its behavior to the remote execution protocol used and to the load of the network and remote hosts. This tool is completely independent of the remote protocol used. All remote execution protocols which provide IO redirection of the remote process launched may be used. A grammar may be provided to describe the environment, providing increased deployment speed in the context of a complex topology (e.g., a grid environment). For more responsive deployment, a remote launch delay can be bound to bypass slow nodes and ignore the specific timeout provided by the protocol used. Taktuk provides full IO and signal redirection to the original console user.
The CatWeasel MK3/4 Linux Driver accesses the SID and joystick features of the CatWeasel MK3 PCI by Individual Computers. Joysticks, paddles, or mice connected to the CatWeasel are accessible within Linux and you can use an Amiga keyboard as a second keyboard for input. If you have attached a SID chip, you can use it with various applications like VICE and SIDplayer. If you want to use the floppy features, use Michael Krause's Floppy CatWeasel Driver.
ECe is another clone of the ncurses-based editor that comes with the Midnight Commander (cooledit). Its main feature is simplicity. You don't have to learn lots of key shortcuts; in order to write text, you just have to type it on the keyboard. While preserving all the original cooledit features (like syntax highlighting or gpm mouse support), ECe offers a few useful enhancements: the ability to work with many files, reconfigurable keys and menus, tab-completion in file dialogs, friendlier default color scheme, and more.
Bambookit GUI is a completely XML-scriptable user interface to build real-time interactive Web application front-ends. Applications occupy 100 Kb of device memory and run on any Java-enabled browser. Users can move windows, resize containers, scroll and sort tables, lists, trees, see real-time data display, use a layout manager, and more. All rendering and event handling is managed in the XML scripts.
