DIOTA is a just-in-time instrumentation tool for Intel binaries. It allows you to create a dynamic loadable library that can be attached to a program running under Linux. DIOTA can instrument all memory operations in the application and the used libraries (e.g., for checking for faulty memory accesses), calls of dynamically linked procedures (malloc, printf, etc.), detect the code executed during a particular run, and more.
ThreeDFM is a 3D file manager that uses OpenGL. Currently, only file system browsing is implemented. The main reason for this project is that using a 2D file manager is slow. More information about files can be conveyed in 3 dimensions. Not only will you be able to see the file's properties, but you will quickly be able to see a particular file's relationship to the others in the surrounding directories. A simple example of this is the file's size, as this can be shown by the size or colour of its representation. It will also be possible to view the contents of multiple directories simultaneously as they stretch off into the distance.
X Window Properties Viewer is a simple Motif application that lets you view/edit the X properties that are associated with each X window. A tree viewer lets to see part or all of the windows tree on your X server. After selecting a window you can view all of the resources at once or select individual ones for viewing/editing. Only editing strings is currently supported.
Complete System Resource Monitor and Task Organizor consists of a daemon, a client, and a WWW-server (within the daemon). The daemon can run tasks and handle client-daemon and WWW-daemon requests. Clients can receive statistics and issue commands. Monitoring and maintenance is performed as prescheduled tasks. The system includes a process monitor and handler, a basic WWW-client, and a console client.
Ganglia is a scalable distributed monitoring system for high-performance computing systems such as clusters and grids. It is based on a hierarchical design targeted at federations of clusters. Ganglia is currently in use on over 500 clusters around the world and has scaled to handle clusters with 2000 nodes.
