Wordtrans is a frontend for several dictionaries. It supports some plain text dictionaries such as i2e (English-Spanish) and de-en (German-English), Babylon Translator dictionaries, and dict servers dictionaries. A 'honeypot' is designed to detect server-side attacks. In contrast, a 'honeyclient' is designed to detect client-side attacks. Specifically, a honeyclient is a dedicated host that drives specially instrumented applications to access remote servers to see if those servers are behaving in a malicious manner (by compromising the client). Honeyclients can proactively detect exploits against client applications without known signatures. This framework uses a client-server model with SOAP messaging as the primary communication method, and uses the free version of VMware Server as a means of virtualizing the client environment.

rrs is a reverse (connecting) remote shell. Instead of listening, it will connect out to rrs in listen mode. The listener will accept the connection and receive a shell from the remote host. rrs features full pseudo-TTY support, full OpenSSL support (client/server authentication and choice of cipher suites), Twofish encryption, a simple XOR cipher, plain-text sessions, peer-side session snooping, a daemon option, and reconnection features. It is known to compile and run under Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, and QNX.
Pathalizer is a tool for visualizing the paths most users take when browsing a Web site. This information can be used to decide how to improve the navigation of the site, and for determining which parts are most worth improving and keeping up to date. It generates a directed, weighed graph from an Apache log, but could easily be modified to analyze any list of events.
WifiScanner is an analyzer and detector of 802.11b stations and access points. It can listen alternatively on all the 14 channels, write packet information in real time, can search access points and associated client stations, and can generate a graphic of the architecture using GraphViz. All network traffic can be saved in the libpcap format for post analysis. It works under Linux with all WiFi cards.
Sharity mounts shares exported by Windows, Samba, and other SMB/CIFS servers in the file system of Unix computers. It implements Resource Browsing, which is similar to the Windows Network Neighborhood (Netbios Workgroups and Active Directory), NTLM, NTLMv2, and Kerberos authentication, Microsoft's Distributed File System (DFS), and manipulation of Access Control Lists (ACLs).
AutoNOC is a high performance, production integrated, peer-to-peer network operations management platform for Windows and Linux. It provides real-time historical analysis, root cause, fault detection, reporting, alerts and alarms, and no-nonsense correlation. It is an interoperable vendor independent solution with built-in support for Microsoft, Cisco, Linux, IBM, and other major technologies. Additionally it offers many novel capabilities, including end user personalization, easy scalability, compressed historical databases, infinite histories, event archiving (it works as a syslog server), and multi-language support.
