Ziproxy is a high-performance forwarding (non-caching) HTTP proxy that gzips text and HTML files, and reduces the size of images by converting them to lower quality JPEGs or JPEG 2000. It is intended to increase the speed for low-speed Internet connections (mobile, dial-up, other). It's suitable for both home and professional usage. Ziproxy is fully configurable and also features transparent proxy mode, HTML/JS/CSS optimization, operation in daemon mode, a detailed access log with compression statistics, basic authentication, and more.
zlcatalog is a C library that can be used to organize information in a non-hierarchical way. It features an XML file structure, elements that can belong to multiple groups, groups that can be sorted by name or date, and an API that provides easy methods of bulding groups from directories, adding/removing groups, adding/removing elements, etc.
zlplay is an MP3 player that uses the zlcatalog system to organize songs. zlcatalog is a library for organizing things in non-hierarchical ways. Songs in zlplay can belong to multiple groups. Navigation through the groups shows songs and related groups. So, for example, it's very easy to start listening to all of your songs randomly and then when you hear a song by a particular artist, a single click switches the song list to songs by that artist.
zmaildrop is a mail delivery agent (MDA) specifically designed to analyze emails, extract relevant information, and send it to a Zabbix server. It is designed for use with schedulers, backup tools, and security monitoring tools that report information via email. As an MDA, it integrates easily with mail transfer agents (MTA) such as Postfix, Exim, and Qmail, or mail retrieving tools as Fetchmail. It is highly configurable, using a simple YAML syntax to describe tool-specific mail formats.
